Training
We have a national reputation for covering all aspects of event support. This ranges from crewing and stewarding to wardrobe assistants and lighting operators.
With the increase of legislation and training, Eventcover have moved into providing training and education for the sector, engaging qualified staff to provide all the training organisations may require, to cope with the industry's needs today.
Eventcover have formed partnerships with a number of further education colleges to maximise the funding available for organisations.
Currently free training is available for employees who are studying for their first Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications. With the demands of the Football Licensing Authority, Eventcover have been working with a number for football clubs in the North of England.
The City & Guilds NVQ in Spectator Safety has become the tried and tested vehicle to conform to the FLA's requirements.
The City & Guilds Level 2 NVQ in Spectator Safety is designed to meet the changing needs of stewarding, helping stewards to ensure the safety and welfare of the match-day public. When stewards complete the NVQ, football clubs can be satisfied that their staff will demonstrate competence in the workplace to an acceptable national standard. It covers: preparing for spectator events; controlling the entry, exit and movement of people at spectator events; monitoring spectators and dealing with crowd problems; helping to manage conflict; and dealing with accidents and emergencies.
Eventcover can also provide training for the SIA Door Supervisors' badge, the new BIIAB qualification in Physical Intervention, and in CCTV operation.
